An odd almandine sample that displays both intact lustrous crystal faces and highly etched areas with stunning patterns. A large hole can be seen in the back of the crystal, a scar left from where a tourmaline or aquamarine was once included. The sample reads as a darker red until back lit showing a warm red tone.
