A two piece set of almandine garnet, a loose and a single crystal in matrix. Each crystal is over 2cm in size. The almandine exhibits a beautiful pink to purplish red color range. The crystals are sharp with a few minor nicks. The faces display a strong luster creating a strong sample set. A former University of Michigan sample.
