A thin plate made of small quartz crystals acts as a rest for a few crystals of black tourmaline. Two larger crystals of quartz stand out from the rest of the plate with increased clarity. The quartz on this sample is slightly smoky and incompletely double terminated. The black tourmaline on this sample is etched adding another layer of texture to the piece. Dimensions 9.1cm x 6.2cm x 3.4cm, weight 97g, Locality Namibia.
